Penn State THON is a year-long fundraising and awareness campaign that culminates in a 46-hour, no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon each February to raise funds for Four Diamonds at Penn State Children’s Hospital. THON is the largest student-run philanthropy in the world.
Since 1977, THON has raised over $200 million for Four Diamonds, which provides comprehensive care for children with cancer and their families. THON’s impact extends far beyond the money raised, as it also provides emotional support to the Four Diamonds families and raises awareness for childhood cancer.
