The Tennessee Volunteers football team will begin its 2025 season on September 6th against the Austin Peay Governors at Neyland Stadium. The Vols will then travel to Pittsburgh to take on the Panthers on September 13th. Tennessee’s first SEC game of the season will be on September 20th at home against the Florida Gators. The Vols will also face SEC East rivals Kentucky, Missouri, South Carolina, and Vanderbilt during the 2025 regular season. Tennessee’s 2025 football schedule is expected to be released in the spring of 2024.
The 2025 football season will be the 128th season of Tennessee football. The Vols have won six national championships, 13 SEC championships, and have played in 52 bowl games. Tennessee is one of the most successful college football programs in the country and the 2025 season is expected to be another exciting year for the Vols.
