Veteran’s Day 2025 is a federal holiday in the United States, observed annually on November 11th. It honors all those who have served in the U.S. military, both living and deceased.
The day was originally known as Armistice Day, commemorating the end of World War I on November 11, 1918. In 1954, Congress passed a bill changing the name to Veteran’s Day to honor all veterans of all wars.
